The EX Plan is a self-paced, guided tobacco quit plan that supports the behavioral, social, and physical aspects of addiction.

Each participant’s tobacco quit plan is dynamically and individually tailored by quit status, age, use of the program, and tobacco use type (including menthol use). Through structured check-ins, for example, our platform learns the user’s quit journey stage and recommends relevant articles, interactive tools, and EX Community posts.

Available in English and Spanish, the EX Plan includes:

Videos and interactive content on preparing to quit, building a support system, and more

Tools for setting a quit date, tracking tobacco use, and beating triggers

Emails tailored to a participant’s quit status

Expert content on chronic conditions, created with Mayo Clinic, to inform and guide decisions

Helpful articles to understand the impact of trauma and mental health on tobacco use

To achieve an incentive or remove a tobacco surcharge, participants must earn a number of points by completing different activities. These activities are designed to help them build confidence, beat tobacco cravings, get social support, and understand addiction.

No matter where a participant is in the quitting process, EX Program can help them get started or get them back on track.

Our incentive achievement requirements introduce tobacco users to our suite of available resources. This lets them know there is ongoing support available in the EX Community and through EX Coaches via live chat.

We make it easy for participants to see what they have completed and ensure they experience all the components of EX Program.
